Working Scientifically¶
Working Scientifically isn't a module you finish — it's seven skills that show up inside every focus area's content and practicals. This page is the reference toolkit: come here whenever a topic page links you in for a specific skill, or when you're planning a depth study and need the full picture in one place.
The seven outcomes, roughly in the order they show up across a real investigation:
- Questioning and predicting — turning curiosity into a testable question
- Planning — variables, fair testing, risk assessment
- Conducting — collecting data properly
- Processing — Precision and Uncertainty + Representing Data
- Analysing — Trends and Relationships + Evaluating Data and Conclusions
- Problem-solving — applying relationships to unfamiliar situations
- Communicating — writing it up so someone else can follow it
Status
All seven outcomes now drafted — Processing and Analysing both split across two pages as planned. Every page still has 🎥 video placeholders (TODO — no NSW-syllabus-aligned Working Scientifically videos sourced yet). Not launch-ready until those are resolved — see project.md Section 10.
