Assumed Knowledge¶
The syllabus repeatedly assumes Year 10 skills without restating them. These bridge pages exist to backfill that, and are cross-linked from wherever a topic first needs them.

Vectors¶
Vector addition/subtraction and resolving into components — needed immediately in Quantities of Motion and Forces and Motion.
Resolving into components needs its own explicit treatment
Flagged during review: this isn't just a sub-point of "vectors" — students need a dedicated worked-through skill section on resolving a vector into perpendicular components specifically, separate from vector addition generally. See Khan Academy — Vector components from magnitude and direction as a starting resource once this section is written.

Trigonometry¶
SOH-CAH-TOA — needed for resolving vectors, projectile motion, inclined planes.
(TODO)
Algebra¶
Rearranging and solving multi-step algebraic equations.
(TODO)
Graphs¶
Reading and constructing line graphs, finding gradient and area under a graph — critical for motion graphs, and again for energy/graph-based questions through to Year 12.

Scientific notation and significant figures¶

Unit conversion and SI prefixes¶
Femto → peta.

Circuit diagram symbols¶

Using a calculator¶
Using a scientific/graphics calculator efficiently (NESA-approved calculator list) — see Resources.
